About Paws & Ponies
Hi, my name is Georgia and I am the owner of 'Paws & Ponies'. I have been running my small business since 2022.
I provide dog walking, pet visits and horse care and look after all of the animals in my care, as if they were my own.
My Animal Experience
When I left school, I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. The course required me to do work experience. I chose to do it in a veterinary practice, which I loved. I then got a job as an animal care assistant in a veterinary practice and went on to do a veterinary nursing apprenticeship.
When I decided I no longer wanted to work in practice, setting up a dog walking and pet care business seemed like the perfect next step for me, with the knowledge and experience I already had.
I have never regretted my decision and I love spending everyday with my furry friends.
My Pets
I enjoy looking after lots of different animals and have a few pets of my own. Currently I have a chihuahua, tortoise and horse.
I have been riding since I was 6 and I am very lucky to own my horse called Spirit. I've owned him for 13 years and have learnt so much from him. I love being around horses and I am confident handling and caring for them.
