I am experienced, reliable and fully insured with Pet Business Insurance.
I am qualified veterinary nurse, so I have lots of experience handling a range of different animals and ensuring their safety and well-being.
About Paws & Ponies
Hi, my name is Georgia and I am the owner of 'Paws & Ponies'. I have been running my small business since 2022.
I provide dog walking, pet visits and horse care and look after all of the animals in my care, as if they were my own.
My Animal Experience
When I left school, I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. The course required me to do work experience. I chose to do it in a veterinary practice, which I loved. I then got a job as an animal care assistant in a veterinary practice and went on to do a veterinary nursing apprenticeship.
When I decided I no longer wanted to work in practice, setting up a dog walking and pet care business seemed like the perfect next step for me, with the knowledge and experience I already had.
I have never regretted my decision and I love spending everyday with my furry friends.
My Pets
I enjoy looking after lots of different animals and have a few pets of my own. Currently I have a chihuahua, tortoise and horse.
I have been riding since I was 6 and I am very lucky to own my horse called Spirit. I've owned him for 13 years and have learnt so much from him. I love being around horses and I am confident handling and caring for them.

Dog walking
I offer a number of different dog walking options, read below for more information on the dog walking services I offer.
1hr Group Walks
£14
Group walks are a perfect way to break up the day for your dog. They are suitable for friendly and sociable dogs and we have lots of fun! I take out a maximum of 4 dogs, so that group sizes are small. We are generally out for 1hr 30 mins - 2 hours including travelling.
30 Minute Group Walks
£10
Not all dogs need a 1 hour walk, so I am offering 30 minute group walks. These will be much slower paced, sniffy walks. 30 minute group walks are perfect for older and small dogs. I take out a maximum of 4 dogs, so that group sizes are small. We are out for about 1 hour including travelling.
Solo Walks
£12/£17
I offer both 30 minute and 1 hour solo walks. These walks are perfect for dogs that wouldn't enjoy a group setting.
pet care
I provide pet care for lots of different animals, so that you know your pet is being well cared for when you are on holiday.
Pet sitting
from £40 per night
I offer pet sitting in your own home. It's great for pets that prefer staying at home and aren't suited to boarding or kennels. I try to stick to your pet's routine as much as possible.
Cat and Small Animal Visits
from £10
I offer cat and small animal drop-in visits. This includes feeding, changing water, cleaning litter trays and playing. I can visit once or twice daily.
Horse Care
£15 per hour
I provide horse care services, to cater to the needs of your equine companions. I am able to turn out/bring in, muck out, change rugs, poo pick, fill haynets, prepare feed etc.
